Wolfenstein: The New Order in the courthouse

Once there was  Mr William Blazkowicz how thought he was fighting in 1941 against Nazi-Germany. But things happened and he wakes up next time some where in the 1960’s. This is the time set where all the story takes place. Of course if you have played the previous Wolfestain you would be more in the story line.

Story is well written as is not in the main part of this game. Ok, I admit the story line is written better even as in some other AAA-group games. As this is a FPS you can expect that this game is pure shooting and war. Still the story line keeps things interesting and it’s nice to have real story where you can know what’s happening and why we are here.

Combat in this game is hard and you can’t always expect what the enemy does. When the AI is so smart that it can give you a little bit of resistant, it’s good. More games with this type of AI and we boys and girls have a much better gaming experiences in our hands. The fact that you can use lots of guns from the beginning, separates this game from typical FPS game, where you have to find always the next gun. That type of “item discovering” is getting old.

Combat with dual assault rifle is pretty neat. You could almost say “Meat is back in the menu, boys”. The dual use of guns is made well. As you can use in one hand a basic and in other a grenade launcher equipped version. There is also a plasma cutter, but that is not a technically a weapon.

Game looks so pretty, but of course as this was played with “PC-master race”. Also this game is over 40 GB, which could also explain it. Wolfenstein new order was one of my top games this year. As it was funny and it gave me as a hard core gamer, so much legendary memories from the past, when I played the first one 2D Wolfenstain. I was expecting still a Hitler robot as a end boss. You how have played the original will know that I mean.

Sniper Elite V2

So as the name tells you the game is all about sniping. You play as solo gun man, who is trying to prevent russians and nazis to lauch V2 rockets against London. You must succeed or London will be doomed. While doing this, try to not lose your temper as the AI will give you few gray hairs. Some times enemy will spawn behind you.

Game looks pretty good, not like Metro Last or other high-end games, but still that it won’t bother you. While levels aren’t so much different from others, the details are still well made. City’s look like they have been bombed as you can see brigs laying on ground and houses on fire. All the enemy look alike, as they have two or three different models. Music is time to time good and sets the mood well, but mostly you don’t even realise the music is playing as the music will start to repeat literally itself.

Weapons are different form one another. You can choose from three different sniper rifle, pistol and grenade. Rifles are different and they all have their good and bad sides. If I can and I will, recommend that you use the german sniper rifle as it is most suitable to this game. You will get good scope and clip size, but it isn’t so powerful as others. That doesn’t matter as you will start to shoot headshots mostly when you will learn the way that you have aim.

Counter-Strike Global Offensive, The online shooter

The legendary online game, re-news itself. This game has now got more things that you can do. New weapons, skins and maps. Where the Counter-Strike, Counter-Strike  1.6 and Counter-Strike Source where legends of their own time has this version gotten the first place as the most realistic and enjoyable game. Where Dota 2 is more for relaxed gaming, Counter strike Global offensive is more intense and requires more attention while playing.

You will counter good players who you might think are using cheats. If you playing against me, you would think that I am  the Road runner with god like aim. It’s true that I won’t miss my shots anytime,  we all now that my ninja like moves are too good against other players. First lesson to novice gamers are that use Galil as terrorist or M4A-1 as Counter-terrorist. Play around 10-50 hours and you will see that you are starting to learn the game.

In this game you play ether a terrorist or counter-terrorist. There are two kind of maps, hostage rescuing or bom disarming. Some say that terrorist side is easier to play as novice to the game. I say that try to play on both sides.

My master, Sensei, how would I be better Counter-Strike Global Offensive gamer?

Let me tell you how, you should tune your aim, cross hair and field of view. Also if you feel that you can’t hit anyone, then you must start to shoot less on automatic and more single shot fire. If you can’t still hit anyone, don’t worry you will in time.

As  GamersSensei, I have to guide you to be better and more effective than other players. My pro tips would be that you just play and  more play the game. You can’t be as good as me, but you can try.

Also the new guns and how you play with them are more important. If you use so to speak weaker guns, you will be awarded with more money than with more powerful guns. The most important thing to buy in every round of game is body armor and grenade. By using your wit and ability hear you can achieve good stats, without any pro skill set.

All of these weapons are best guns to use for most of the gamers.

  

Terrorist side weapons

Galil, most suitable gun for novices and economical. Has power to kill with single headshot, but doesn’t have the accuracy of AK-47.

AK-47, best gun for experienced and lethal gamers. Has the power to kill with single headshot and it’s most accurate rifle in game.

Counter-Terrorist side weapons

M4A4, best gun for Counter-terrorist players. If you have good aim, this gun is good for you, but if you want to get more range I would recommend that you use auto sniper or AWP.

M4A1-S, like M4A4, but you have ability to use silencer attachment. This gun is more accurate than regular M4A4. The downside is that you have less bullets than normal  M4A4. This gun is most suitable for novices and players with poor aim.

AWP, most powerful gun in the game. With this game you are able to dominate the whole battlefield. You usually kill with one shot, but if you hit the leg, you have to shoot again and put the enemy out of his pain. it’s  the most humane way to do

P250, someone could say the best pistol in the game. P250 has all the wanted features in balance. It’s accurate, fast and has power to stop enemy’s.

Other pistol to compete with P250 as the best pistol is Five-Seven. That’s is gun that is only available for counter-terrorist side.

Some servers have enabled the friendly fire and some have disabled it. So watch out that you will not shoot your own members of the team. Few friendly fire accidents are acceptable, but if you start to shoot your own members of the team, be ready that you may be kicked of the server and receive minor ban even. Most of the gamers at the servers are behaving nicely, but there can be some nut case that wants to ruin the game for others.

Competitive mode is mode where you play rounds and try to win 16 rounds to win the game. There is also rank which you will abstain your rank. Your rank will rise or lower by depending how you play. If your gaming is bad, and I mean Kills per death ratio is lower than 1.5 your stats are going to lower, if your team loses, but not if your team wins. FYI my team never loses, but that is obvious, isn’t it?

Gaming tips for winning the competitive or casual games. As terrorist team, try to stick to gether and choose one of the bomb sites and use smoke grenades to help your team to move under a snipering spots. I would recommend also that terrorist team would by one or two Awp’s and rest would use Galil or AK. More experienced gamers can use Two-Three push tactic. In that tactic bomb man and two protectors go for a bomb site and two go to other. Those two will start to distract Counter-terrorists to get going to other bomb site. While they are making distracting Counter-Terrorist, three terrorist will start to make their way to bomb site. Once they are armed the bomb and CT will start to back to the other bomb site will the other two terrorist start to push on CT’s back, That way they are under cross fire. Use this tactic and your will be yours!

As an Counter-Terrorist split on two or three groups. Two to bomb site A and Two bomb site B and one on the middle so he can quickly move to help if they are rushing straight to the bomb site. Your weapons should be Awp or M4A4 or M4A4-S, with these weapons you have good firepower against AK’s. You can watch from long distances with Awp so Terrorist can’t use long straits to advance quickly to bomb sites. Flash and Smoke grenades are good as an Counter-Terrorist to block or freeze terrorist if you know where they are coming from. Also if you kill the bomb carrier, stay and guard the bomb so that terrorist won’t be able to pick it up and win the round.

Those are my advice for you, if you are playing or have just started to play Counter-Strike Global Offensive

Deus Ex: Human Revolution or Deus Ex: Human Evolution

For those who don’t know what Deus Ex; Human Revolution is, let me tell you. Deus Ex; Human Revolution is set to the future where you play as Adam Jensen, a security specialist on a medical company. At the beginning of the game you are given a mission which doesn’t end up as you expected.

Basicly the game starts from there. You will have to find persons who have been kidnapped and in the same time investigate your employers shady business. This game has lots of side missions, which you can carry out. Carrying out side missions, you can make Adam stronger and better. Upgrading with nano-enhancements you can turn Adam to Terminator, but not indestructible. I found this part of the game very entertaining. You can attack with your guns blazing, but you risk your life at the same time by doing this.

Story line is very straight, but it shows that it’s been written long. The story has it’s not so thrilling parts mostly in the beginning and it gets more and more thrilling towards the end of. At the same time if you play side missions, you won’t possibly notice this story line progress. Side missions have been also made so good, that some of them could have been possibly in the main story. With DLC you will get a new story to play. It’s not so good than the main games story, but it beats some other main game story, by it’s quality and the attractiveness of it.

Game is long in these days standards, but I liked it. There wasn’t any boring moments, in my 16 hours of gameplay. You can easily play this game around 20-25 hours maybe more, if you sneak and try to be as stealthy as you can be. Also the difficulty level makes same difference between how long it takes to beat this game. There is a problem with the end-boss fightings. End-bosses are very easy to kill, but in the same time they can be very hard to defeat. Most of the game you can play as you like. This game doesn’t force you to play in some pre-made way. Almost every situation can be dealt with a number of different ways.

Making your enemy nervous is ton of fun. You can be hiding in some dark corner and deal them one by one, man to man so to speak. Your weapons are all different and they all have  different effect on enemy, that’s why you must use all of them. Example shotgun is great if you are in small place with lots of enemy, you almost always kill with a shot. There are a different type of enemy which all require their one way of dealing.

Deus Ex; Human Revotulitons game music is Hollywood standard, maybe a beyond that. The music is composer by brilliant Michael McCann. This games audio tracks are so good, that if you haven’t listened them yet, you should now. Where the music is brilliant and makes the gaming experience more enjoyable, in-game videos are also well made. On of the reasons are that you can interact in those. What you chose, will shape the story you are playing. If your PC can handle good graphics, I would say that play  the game by setting them to high, but not so high that your gaming performance will be affected.

There are mod and DLC which makes this game more beautiful and gives new missions and items. I would recommend to that you would play the game with out any rush. Just walk and look around, talk to people, make side missions and just relax. From my experience I would say, if I may that rushing a game through is like making a snowman in summer. It’s fun but it doesn’t  make any sense. This game deserves to played with out any rush.

There are coming Directors Cut version of this game. So if you are interested about this game it can be a worthy of note.
